Earlier this year, we were absolutely delighted to receive a generous grant from South Glos Council to help improve our much-loved club. It’s a huge step forward, but now we need your support to raise at least £4,500 to ensure we can complete this work without compromising future plans or essential upkeep.

Where We Stand:

• Total cost of the project: £60,278
• Grant received: £43,389
• Club contribution needed: £16,889

While we can just about fund the shortfall, doing so would leave us unable to carry out some important improvements and without a safety net for unexpected maintenance.

What’s Already Happening:

Thanks to lots of behind-the-scenes work from the Committee, we will be upgrading key areas of the club:

• Full bar refurbishment (new ceiling, flooring, worktops, splashback)
• Entrance upgrade (ceiling and carpets)
• LED lighting for Betty Ford Court
• Accessible toilet and changing facilities
• New ramped access with drainage and safe patio surfacing

These improvements will transform how we use and enjoy the club for all members.

What We Can’t Do Without Your Help:

• Fix the dangerous drop-off near Betty Ford Court
• Create new external storage (we're losing current storage space to build the new changing room)
• Install a fence to stop headlights shining onto the court
• Build in a buffer for unexpected repairs or ongoing upkeep

Introducing: Our In-House Club Crowdfund

In July 2025 we’re launching a fundraising drive to raise £4,500 by end of September 2025 and every donation – large or small – will make a real difference. We’ll keep track of our progress on the clubhouse noticeboard so you can see the impact unfold.
